Meet Dr. Melinda Rodriguez, a Colorado-licensed optometrist who blends clinical excellence with a compassionate approach. After completing her Doctorate in San Antonio-where she honed her skills at the McWethy Troop Medical Clinic she focused her research on the early detection and treatment of Glaucoma.
Today, Dr. Rodriguez enjoys working with patients of all ages. In addition to comprehensive exams and eye infection treatment, she specializes in fitting advanced contact lenses for those with complex prescriptions or corneal diseases. "I would give 500 stars if I could! Something flew into my eye this afternoon, and after several hours, it was still causing immense pain. I tried eye rinses, physical inspection, eye drops... nothing. I called my established eye care center--Summit Vision Eye Care--and was told, "we're full today--try urgent care." Considering how much money I spent there last year on glasses, it felt incredibly demeaning to be ignored like that. In desperation, I called a few other places, and Mountain Top Eye Care saved the day!! The woman answering the phone took me so seriously, and told me they'd fit me in, and to come right away. My wife drove me down, and the doctor saw me immediately. In literally three minutes, she identified the tiniest speck of dirt, and removed it from my eye. The pain relief was instant!! I felt so betrayed by the other clinic, but Mountain Top Eye Care has earned a patient as long as I live here.
